Our push south yesterday evening has rewarded us with a fairly steady 12 – 15 knot easterly breeze and a push from the North Equatorial Current to top up the average speed to around 6.5 knots. We are now one third of the way across the Atlantic. We have covered just over 150 miles in the last 24 hours and if we can maintain this pace, should arrive in Grenada on Sunday 10 December.
A quiet day at sea in fine weather with the spinnaker up and no new defects to report!
