Straightforward day with a fresh north easterly wind combining with the North Equatorial Current to push us along at over 7 knots under white sails alone. Morale enhanced by the arrival of tiffin from the galley thanks to Julie’s innovation and imaginative provisioning! Sadly the Cape Verde cabbages were consigned to the deep as they were looking decidedly unwell. The watermaker repair programme had a day off so Wet Wipes remain the preferred hygiene product. We have covered 165 miles in the last 24 hours and todays noon sextant sight agreed with the GPS!
All well.
