We covered 155 miles in the last 24 hours under white sails.  We crossed paths again with the Dutch yacht Mirabella who left Tenerife on 19 November and are now astern of us.

With temperatures touching 30 degrees C at the chart table, the bluest seas, moonlit nights and a fine boat to carry us along, we will reach the halfway point in the passage later this evening.  Preparations for Saturday Night at Sea include Submariners showers, defrosting some steaks, making a raspberry pie, a coffee cake and perhaps having a beer whilst watching a film.

1131 miles to run!
