Sailed from Jolly Harbour later afternoon into a fresh Easterly. We cleared the north west corner of Barbuda before midnight and have been making good progress northwards in fairly rough seas. The wind and sea state have eased a bit today.
Our plan is to head north for a couple of days, skirting the western edge of an area of high pressure that sits between Antigua and the Azores.
No defects and morale is good – though we are looking forward to finding more favourable winds, probably on Tuesday.
