Brittany is easy to get to from the South Coast of England and offers endless possibilities for the cruising yachtsman. How could you not enjoy St Malo? Whilst we have long enjoyed the ‘Channel Islands and Adjacent Coasts of France’ section, in our experience it’s definitely worth pushing west towards Ploumanach and beyond. Recently, in the post-BREXIT era,  we’ve used Roscoff as a Port of Entry. Once you get past Ushant and take the tide down past the Ile de Sein it can feel almost Mediterranean.
