The Azores are a complete cruising ground in themselves. Beautiful islands with abundant marine wildlife, affordable prices and very friendly people. For Escapade, this was a pitstop on the way across the Atlantic from west to east: crew change, refuel, admin. We only stopped at Horta on Faial; I would very much like to return to explore the other islands in a more leisurely fashion.
